Notes to Japan

We are about half way through our project, Notes to Japan. In just about one and a half week, my friends and I will be sorting through all the cards/drawings we've collected and mail it to tsunami shelters in Japan. Students' passionate responses toward us have been uplifting. I was uncertain about how effective this project would be at first, but people's desire to participate exceeded my expectations.

These are some notes people decorated.

And of course, we are going to take out the bad ones. As inappropriate as this one is, I am surprised no ones has written "chingchong" yet.
And why are we doing this for Japan? Because I believe recovery cannot happen with emergency aids alone but through encouragements and healing within people's hearts
